Hi everybody, I'm going to talk about my favourite band, Seether, an alternative rock band.

The members of the band are:

Shaun Morgan: Lead Vocals, rythm guitar.

Dale Stewart: Bass, backing vocals.

John Humphrey: Drums.

Troy McLawhorn: Lead guitar, backing vocals.



This band was formed in 1999 in Pretoria, South Africa. This band was originally named Saron Gas, but they changed their name in 2002 to Seether because people were confused and they thought that was sarin gas, a fatal gas that was almost used in World War II.

They appeared at public parties, nightclubs, large-scale concerts, and university venues. More later they signed up with Musketeer Records in South Africa and also with Wind Up Records in America.

Most of their albums were a hit in America, and also the rock radio stations used to often broadcast their songs.

At the moment the band is on a headlining tour over North America, the band's leader said that he was going to spend the rest of the year composing and writing more songs for the follow up of Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces.

My Favourite Song from Seether.

Well, this is my favourite song because in its lyrics you can read between lines that there's always a way to overcome adversities, no matter how difficult they might be. This song was written by Shaun Morgan; it's about his late brother, Eugene Welgemoed, to help him overcome his depression and it was written before Eugene comitted suicide.
